We have invested a great deal in developing our Start Boxes, and as a result, we now have several prototype units available for purchase at significantly reduced prices.
Electrically, these boxes are identical to the Start Boxes currently available in our store, which you can view HERE. The main differences lie in their construction and certain components, such as the switches and buttons used.
These Start Boxes are being offered on a first come, first served basis at more than 40% off the usual price—just £70.00 each, plus duties and postage & packaging at cost.
The box on the left features our latest waterproof switches, although these are not bedded in sealant, so we recommend it is not left out in the rain. The two boxes on the right are fitted with basic, non-waterproof switches and buttons.
Each unit includes a four-button remote and is pre-configured with male-voiced audio files as follows (recordings 1 to 4 are accessible via the remote, others via the box’s switches and buttons):
1 – 1 Minute Start Countdown
2 – Unused
3 – 2 Minute Start Countdown
4 – 30 second warning followed by 2 minute handicap start timer
5 – 1 Warning followed by 2 Minute Start Countdown
6 – 2 Warning followed by 2 Minute Start Countdown
7 – 3 Warning followed by 2 Minute Start Countdown
8 – Klaxon recall
You are welcome to reorder or replace these files with your own MP3s if you prefer.
As with all of our Start Boxes, we do not supply a battery as shipping Lithium Batteries is very difficult. You may use any of your existing 2S Lithium batteries (Li-Po, LiFe, Li-Ion) which power the box via the 3 pin balance connector on the battery.
