Aluminium tube supplied in 400mm lengths suitable as booms for the IOM (International One Metre) class.

The recent trend in the IOM class is to use a lighter boom for the top rig and normal 11mm mast material for No2 and No3 rigs.

While we continue to see the 10.1mm Arrowshaft used as a lightweight boom we are now seeing many people switching to the thicker walled 10mm section in the IOM class as the tube is stiffer and less subject to corrosion.
