Our Boom Fittings are 3D printed, mostly using PLA-CF (Carbon Fibre re-enforced PLA plastic) and where metal hardware is added it is A2 or A4 Stainless Steel.

The Parts are designed to be snug/tight fit onto the most common aluminium boom sections used today in the IOM class.  They being the 11.1mm section most commonly also used for masts, the lightweight 10.1mm "Arrowshaft" used by many as a lightweight boom, and the modern 10mm section which has a greater wall thickness than the arrowshaft and is overall much stronger.

Because the parts are 3D printed their surface finish may not be perfect and there may be some wispy fibres noticeable which is the carbon fibre additive.   This will wear away over time.

Parts will be very tight fit on your booms so please fit them with care.  We have created tools to help fit them.  Please see them in our Tools section.
