We are please to announce that, following requests from some of you, we have added some new stainless steel clew fittings and fairleads to our list of rig components for IOM and other classes of radio sailing boat.
Available in both 10 and 11mm these fit all of the current round boom sections in popular use today in the International One Metre class. Laser cut from 1.5mm 316L stainless steel they are hand reamed before being tumbled for 48hours to remove all burrs from the cutting.
The fitting slides easily onto the round aluminium boom and a light crimp with some pliers locks it in place securely enough so not to move under use, but still allowing them to be moved by hand to adjust the trim of your rig.
There new components compliment our extensive list of other rig components for your IOM which include all the mast and boom fittings for your boats, as well as some fittings designed specifically for the Proteus 3D printed IOM.
