Earlier this summer we made a soft-launch of our range of rig components and other hardware on www.catsails.co.uk while we geared ourselves up for a full launch, and here we are today with the launch of our Cat Components web shop.
The popularity of our range of products over these last few month far exceeded our expectations and we would like to thank all those of you who have already purchased our products and give us such wonderful feedback.
We started off with sail marking stencils for the DF and IOM classes and while we enhanced those, we started developing rig components for the IOM class.
Thanks to a number of very supportive field testers we were able to refine and improve the products and today we are proud to produce a wide range of products for the radio sailing community.
In this very competitive market place we wanted to fill a gap that has opened up for competitively priced self-produced components that meet the needs of radio sailors around the world. To date our products have found their way to all corners of the UK as well as the USA, Australia, Sweden, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Eire and France.
Our product range consists mainly of items that are 3D printed, thus keeping the production times and costs down, allowing us to pass those efficiencies over to you.
Now that we are fully established with our separate web shop for our components and other radio sailing accessories we will remove the product range from the Catsails webshop and use that to focus on the sails and accessories that it always has, and use Cat Components for this new range of components and accessories.
Thank you to all of you that have already purchased our products, those of you who have and continue to test our products in the real world, and all of you who have taken the time to read this message.
