Say goodbye to slipped sheet lines! We're proud to introduce our new Self-Tensioning Winch Drums for high-performance RC racing yachts.
No springs, no elastics — one less thing to fail on race day. These drums Keep positive tension on your sheet line automatically. 3D-printed using PA12 nylon (MJF technology) and hand-assembled by our team.
- Available in 36mm, 40mm & 42mm diameters.
- Left & right-hand versions.
- Compatible with both 1/4" drive (RMG, Red Ant) and T25 spline (Kingmax & other servo winches).
- Supplied with a thumb screw for easy fitting and removal.
Drum diameters refer to the drum face. The overall diameter is 10mm larger.
Order the handedness that matches your winch rotation direction: Right-hand drum for anticlockwise rotation when sheeting in; Left-hand drum for clockwise rotation. Please specify your required variant in the order notes.
The vibro-polished finish delivers the smooth, low-friction surface shown in photos — essential for reducing drag.
Minimal maintenance required. For saltwater use, rinse periodically in fresh water and apply a small amount of silicone grease between mating surfaces.
